It is applied in the description, documentation, and discovery of cultural resources, works of art, items of folk heritage, rare publications, and other objects. Each term is accompanied by a definition and additional contextual information, and is linked through semantic mapping relationships to the Getty Art & Architecture Thesaurus (AAT) and to DBpedia (Wikipedia), enhancing interoperability and semantic enrichment.
