Since 1998, more than 17.000 children have been treated by the "Kalangos Foundation" teams either in their own countries or in several medical care units in Europe. Our mission is to provide medical and surgical training facilities to the medical and paramedical staff of different middle and low-income countries. Also, we aim to create specific "heart institutes" in middle and low-income countries. Last but not least, we want to improve the infrastructure and equipment of existing care facilities in these countries.
